![]() I was planning to continue with reviewing The Blood Covenant by Clay Trumbull and then onto The Threshold Covenant and then perhaps The Salt Covenant and, indeed, I highly recommend those for study. But, I’m feeling impressed that I need to wind-down my blogging and focus on other things. I have accomplished the things that God has asked me to do - Abraham Heschel in his book God in Search of Man, said that religion is supposed to answer man’s ultimate questions. So, if we look at the Bible to answer those questions, the depth of our understanding of who we are is predicated on our depth of understanding the Bible. Biblical theology is complex – it’s a huge puzzle that needs to be unscrambled. If we have a superficial understanding of the Bible then we really have a superficial view of ourselves. Introduction All of humanity comes into mortality on some spiritual level. Everyone ever born is given the Light of Messiah/Christ - our conscience - to guide us in this life to choose right over wrong – John 1:9. If we remain loyal to this Light, God will give us, at some point, the opportunity to become our greatest self in becoming like Him. Those living at the end of the world have a unique opportunity to move forward to become their greatest self as God prepares this world for the millennial rule of humanity’s god. Some of us, God has sent to facilitate this preparation for His return. Please consider the following as you seek achieving your greatest self and developing a deeper relationship with God at this unique time in the history of our world. A Beginning My beginning maybe a lot like yours. I was born into a Christian faith system. Though Mormonism has some interesting ideas about continuing earthly relationships in the forever, it has perpetuated many Christian traditions. An Awakening One advantage of being in America, is that America, as a nation, was formed under a covenant with God. You won’t find any other nation today, not even present-day Israel, that lives under a covenant with God. As I became involved in supporting American Constitutionalism, I realized that the Founders of America had included many biblical principles of free government in with America’s founding. At some point, I embraced the idea that American Constitutionalism is a steppingstone to a higher law that God sets out in the Torah but in a messianic context. Like ancient Egypt was a safe haven for Jacob and his family during a severe famine, America – Isaiah’s Endtime Egypt - has a divine destiny in perpetuating God’s covenant with Abraham and in the righteous restoration of the House of Israel, and for those assimilated gentiles. Cleon Skousen’s book, The Majesty of God’s Law – it’s Coming to America came into my possession that perpetuated this greater messianic restoration of God's law in America. "I discovered that the Founders [of America] were in-depth students of the Bible, and equally familiar with secular history both ancient and modern. I was surprised that they knew we Americans would one day practice the revealed code of righteous law given to the Israelites by God." - Cleon Skousen Watch next week for Part 2.
