![]() Last week, we saw that American Constitutionalism is a steppingstone to higher law, and that higher law included Israel’s law code in the fullness of Messiah/Christ, which is designed to establish a pure people. Moreover, we connected this concept to five Endtime cities in America that Isaiah predicts in chapter 19. This week, we’ll consider the important aspects of what the scriptures indicate establishes a pure people. Review Last week we saw those who use American Constitutionalism as a steppingstone to a higher law realize the category of the Son.
Becoming Pure We can look no further than Yeshua/Jesus’ teachings on being “Reborn or Born Again” to take us down the pathway to be transformed into a pure people and becoming a new creation of the Holy Spirit.
This is Yeshua’s process to be Reborn or Born Again.
Born of the Blood and Universal Sin Universal Sin is the sin of Adam and Eve who brought eternal physical and spiritual death into the world and a sin that we inherited through them. We overcome this sin by accepting Yeshua/Jesus’ atonement, death and resurrection, taking on His name as the Redeemer of all humanity – the Messianic Covenant. Essentially, we become “Born of the Blood”. – 1 Cor. 15:22 (Those who remain under American Constitutionalism can be redeemed but don’t become purified/sanctified) Born of the Water We are Born of the Water when we have faith in God and His Law, repent from our past lives, and witness this change of life through the baptism of water. Born of the Spirit We begin becoming Born of the Spirit by living His Law found in the Torah, which is an expression of the Holy Spirit because the Law is truth and the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. By living the Law in the Torah, we receive more truth through the Holy Spirit until we receive a fullness of truth even a fullness of Messiah/Christ. – John 16:13
The Law in the Fullness of Messiah/Christ Here are the essentials of living the Law in the fullness of Messiah/Christ.
Born of God Finally, we see three elements in becoming Born of God.
Zion and the Presence of the Son of God As a community-collective of purified believers – Zion, they are qualified to receive the presence of the Son of God in His glory. Tithing and the Poor One of the areas that is subject to abuse by religionists is the requirement of tithing – donating a tenth of one’s income. Many of these religionists use the widow’s mite to justify tithing the poor. What they fail to show is that the scribes “devour widow’ houses” and widows paid in their living expense. Those who can read between the lines see that Yeshua/Jesus was really condemning the scribes for tithing the poor. “And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” – Mark 12:38-44 As a believer, I use the following formula to calculate tithing. Gross Income less living expenses equals surplus income. So then you tithe on your surplus (increase) income.
