Appendix A: Covenants and the 613 Commands

This appendix associates the 613 Commands with our covenants. The appendix key indicates the status/type of law. Certain laws may only be observed in a dedicated land.

Key Code	Explanation
OP	OPTIONAL: Commands that are not required but available.
LO	LAWS OF ORDER: Commands that provide order and structure.
PN	PASSOVER NAME: Instead of sacrificing a lamb at Passover, we post God’s Name over our front door.
NL	NOAHIDE LAWS: Commands associated with the seven laws for all humanity.
IN	INACTIVE: Commands that become inactive.
EX	EXPELLED: Non-violent laws where the perpetrator can be expelled from the community. We see this in the case of Sarah expelling Hagar and Ishmael.
LH	LAWS OF HOLINESS: These commands are associated with God’s presence.
FB	FIRSTBORN: The firstborn males are temple priests and not the Levities.
MO	MEMORIAL OFFERINGS: These are memorial offerings because all atonement passes through Yeshua.
LT	LITERAL INTERPRETATION: This command should be literally interpreted and not expanded to include not cooking milk and meat together.
FM	FULFILLED IN MESSIAH: Fulfilled in Yeshua’s redemption. A memorial of Yeshua’s sacrifice can be administered.
LC	LAWS OF CLEANLINESS: These commands are designed to keep one separated from the degeneracy and death of a fallen world.
LTO	LAWS OF TEMPLE ORDER: Isaiah’s Endtime temple in the Kingdom of God will also be a temple of instruction - Isaiah 2:3. So those who are not the firstborn to enter the temple will also need to obey these rules.
VR	VEIL RENT: This prohibition seems to have come to an end for both priests and high priests – Matt 27:51. Hebrews 10:19-20.
**	Codes in the Priesthood column that are not FB apply to both the firstborn and fathers as priests as well.
NC	NOT IN COVENANT: Peoples living in the land dedicated to Yehovah must be in covenant.
CL	COMMUNITY LEADERS: Under the Melchizedek Priesthood, community leaders have political and ecclesiastical authority – Davidic Kings and High Priests.
BA	BORN AGAIN: We can link this scripture with Deu. 30:6 and 10:16, which commands Israel to circumcise their hearts, not sin, and walk in God’s ways. Yeshua commanded Israel to be Born Again, which would change their hearts.

NOTE: Scripture references may be off by a verse or two. This is due to different versions of the Bible. Check the specific reference for clarification of a command.
