In the last chapter, we reviewed the workings of the Spirit to guide us to all truth and coming to know God, this chapter we will move onto our next section of becoming Sanctified by being Born of God. There are three primary topics we will consider in becoming Born of God: First, the Baptism of Fire; Second, the Baptism of the Spirit; and Third, the Promise/Seal of the Spirit. The Process of Perfection Our Process of Perfection looks like this:
Born of God Those who have overcome personal sin God calls being Born of God. We see this concept set out at 1 John 3:9. “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His spirit remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” Though some might consider being Born of God and Born Again refer to the same condition, here Born of God means that being Born Again has reached a state of completion, - having met all of the conditions of being Sanctified, a new creation of the Holy Spirit and the assurance that covenants are unconditional and everlasting.
A New Creation of the Holy Spirit Those who are Born Again/Born of God become a new creation of the Holy Spirit. Reaching the first ascension to be like Yeshua. Like Abraham those who pass their test/trial of loyalty make their covenants with God unconditional and everlasting. These have the constant companionship of the Holy Spirit and prophesy to God’s glory.
Jacob/Israel to Zion/Jerusalem Another concept we see by becoming Born Again/Born of God is that we have ascended to a new category of blessedness that we see in the Book of Isaiah. Believers in the God of Israel - those whom Isaiah calls Jacob/Israel - who become Born Again/Born of God now Isaiah calls Zion/Jerusalem. "People who repent of transgression and keep the law and word of Israel’s God—the terms of his covenant— and prove loyal through the time of testing qualify to ascend spiritually from the Jacob/Israel category to Zion/Jerusalem." Avraham Gileadi, PhD
Kingdom of God and the House of the Son Again we see Yeshua's declaration that those who are Born Again will enter the Endtime Kingdom of God and the House of the Son. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 The Restoration of Israel The spiritual restoration of Israel coincides with the establishment of the Endtime Kingdom of God, which will probably include the two witnesses that we see in Revelations 11.
