In this post, we will consider the concept of Individual Salvation. Individual Salvation is the condition of being first Redeemed from the Fall of Adam and Eve, which brought eternal physical and spiritual death into the world; and second, a level of individual blessedness to be Sanctified or to be made pure and set apart.
Redemption When we drill down into the concept of redemption, redemption is to be redeemed or saved from physical death or to receive immortality – the salvation of the physical body - resurrection. Sanctification When we look at the concept of sanctification, sanctification is to be in the presence of God. We see this concept in Matthew 5:8 – the Pure In Heart see God. This condition is referred to as spiritual salvation. The spiritual salvation that we see with those who are sanctified receive the presence of God the Son in eternity. Everlasting Life When a believer is both redeemed and sanctified, they receive everlasting life.
Saved Believers who are redeemed but not sanctified are saved from physical death but don’t live in the presence of God the Son in eternity.
