In this brief introduction, we’ll look at the concept of Married Exaltation. Above Individual Salvation is the blessedness of Married Exaltation. Perfection in Messiah cannot be achieved unless a person is married. We see this requirement in the Garden and in the Law for priests to be married. We see that marriage was an integral aspect of the covenant that Avraham and Sarah made with Yehovah. We also see this curious marriage at Cana mentioned in the second chapter of John. All of which points to the importance of marriage. Moreover, when we look at the Davidic Covenant, marriage is essential. Married Exaltation Our process looks like this.
God's Sons and Daughters - His Elect “Rising above the Zion/Jerusalem level on the ladder to heaven are individuals to whom God refers in familial terms as “sons” and “daughters,” who take on a greater commitment on behalf of his people. These choose to serve God by serving their fellow human beings. They minister spiritually to levels below their own, while they themselves are ministered to by ones above. God makes a covenant with his “sons” and “daughters” individually, not just collectively as he does with those of Zion/Jerusalem. That individual covenant is first conditional— dependent on the person’s fulfilling its terms—then unconditional. When it becomes unconditional, God himself ministers to his “sons” and “daughters.” - Gileadi These Elect Ones must also be redeemed and Sanctified.
Exaltation and Avraham and Sarah The Apostle Paul in his discourse on perfection in the sixth chapter of the Book of Hebrews connects Avraham with perfection and exaltation through the covenant that he and Sarah make with Yehovah, which appears to be connected with the command that He gave to Abraham at Genesis 17:1 to be perfect. Both Avraham and Sarah ascend to a higher relationship with God together as husband and wife. This concept is indicated because both of their names were changed indicating a new and higher spiritual status. Moreover, what we should understand here with this change in status is that our status changes from no longer are we considered the posterity and adoptees of Avraham and Sarah, we are to become like Avraham in a marriage context.
