In this chapter, we’ll finish up our section on Receiving a Fullness of Knowledge with the Seven Levels of Heaven. Because all of us will be judged by our works – Rev. 20:12 - and merit degrees of salvation based on the extent that we responded to God’s truth, we see seven levels of Heaven. We’ll also consider two addition topics that lead up to Heaven – the Realm of the Dead and the Resurrection. The Process of Perfection Our Process of Perfection looks like this: Individual Salvation Born of the Blood Redemption Born Again Sanctified Born of the Water > Born of the Spirit > Born of God > Married Exaltation Going Onto Perfection Exaltation Becomes Perfected > Reaches the Full Stature of Messiah > Sees God the Son The Realm of the Dead Those who die before the Millennium, and before the resurrection and are assigned to Heaven go to the realm of the dead. The Bible has called this place of spirits Sheol, prison, hell, and paradise. This place of the dead or a spirit realm looks like this.
Those who go to Hell who have sinned against their conscience – Light of Messiah – suffer for their sins. But are to be redeemed except Perdition. “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” - 1 Peter 3:18-20 [Those who died in the Flood essentially referring to all those who have died.] Those of Jacob/Israel who have not sinned against their conscience go to paradise and receive the fullness of the Gospel and become Zion/Jerusalem. “For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” – 1 Peter 4:6 Resurrection The Bible sets out two primary resurrections – the resurrection of the Just and Unjust – Acts 24:15, which also correlate to the first and second resurrections. We also see that the first resurrection begins during the Millennium and the second resurrection occurs after the Millennium.
Perdition is denied the resurrection and a place in Heaven. Heaven Generally, religionists lump everyone who merits Heaven into one place. To place all Humanity into one place isn’t fair, impartial or just to recognize a person's actions during mortality. And though we would like everyone to live in the presence of God the Father forever, patterns and principles in the scriptures don’t really support this view. Only Israel’s High Priest was allowed into the Holy of Holies where God’s presence dwelt. Yeshua stated that to be His brother, sister or mother you have to do the Will of the Father - Matt 12:50. When Yeshua declared that He would prepare a place in His Father’s House – he was only talking to His Apostles – John 14:2. Moreover, the Apostle Paul introduces us to the concept that Yeshua also has a house in the third chapter of the Book of Hebrews. Furthermore, we see the Book of Revelations delineate this even further by declaring, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” – Revelations 22:11 So, it seems pretty obvious that Heaven includes a multiple of divisions. Israel’s Tabernacle as a Model of Heaven The first representation of Heaven that we see in the Bible is Israel’s Tabernacle/Temple, which we see Yeshua connects with Heaven in the nineth chapter of the Book of Hebrews.. Israel’s Tabernacle was separated into three sections - the Inner Court, The Holy Place and The Holy of Holies. Only the High Priest could enter into God’s Presence in the Holy of Holies with the Mercy Seat and Ark. Only the Priests (and High Priest) could enter into the The Holy Place where the Menorah stood and finally the Inner Court is where the people came to provide sacrifice at the altar. Here in the Tabernacle, we see all kinds of patterns that indicate conditions of three realms of Heaven. We can summarize these elements and then expand our understanding with our Theme of Threes.
* Revelations 22:11 – Perdition or those who are filthy go to a place of everlasting damnation. ** Also notice here that men who receive the House of the Son and the Father have the Melchizedek Priesthood. The Seven Heavens We can take this view of Heaven add Isaiah's Spiritual Categories and structure a picture of the seven levels of Heaven or seven Heavens.
