The biggest challenge of the Gospel is knowing that the path chosen will actually lead a person to God.  This begs the question of validation.  Validation is the action of checking or proving the validity or accuracy of something.  In theology, validation is the action of proving that the path chosen will actually lead a person to God.

In my previous Faith, I saw people interpret their own emotions or feelings as an influence of the Spirit and therefore they determined that they had received a confirmation of truth.  How can we be certain that we are receiving the influence of the Spirit?

The Right Spirit
The scriptures are clear that God's Law is Truth -Psalms 119:142, 151.

So we begin by living the commandments, this will bring to us the right spirit - it will bring to us God's Spirit.  The Spirit must be consistent with God's commandments.  And His commandments are by and large in the Torah.


Bearing Fruit
The end result of living the commandments and receiving the Spirit is that it will bear fruit. Fruit that comes from God and not from our own efforts. Fruit can come in the way of knowledge, blessings, and manifestations that God is moving in our lives.  In my previous Faith, I did not see God moving in my life.  I felt like a slave to my Church giving my money and time for empty promises.  But that changed when I embraced the Torah and Yeshua's example of living the Law.
