![]() Thoughts on the Torah portion for Last Week. See our page on Spiritual Coaching: Leviticus 12-15 This Torah portion is a summary of the cleanness laws set out in Leviticus 12-15. For those who missed last week post with a video teaching by Steve Berkson, this teaching covered these four chapters – go HERE to view that teaching. For many this week is observing the Passover, this seminal event marks the restoration of God’s covenant with His people – the descendants of Jacob. God initiated this restoration of His people with the father of the home slaughtering a male lamb that represented Israel’s Savior-God. This event established the father of the home entering into a covenant relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob even Yehovah who later condescended as Yeshua to save all humanity from being eternally lost. Even though Israel apostatized, God will set His hand a second time at the end of time to recover the descendants of Jacob in order to setup His eternal kingdom. In the prophecy of Isaiah, three key events signal the initiation of this Endtime restoration of Israel: a revival of biblical law, the arrival of God’s Endtime Servant, and the empowerment of spiritual kings and queens to recover the literal house of Israel. For out of Zion shall go forth the Torah We saw last week that during the Endtimes a temple would be build and the many peoples would flow to the mountain of the Lord. Moreover, we see in the Hebrew that the Lord revealed to Isaiah in connection with this prophecy in Isaiah 2:3 that out of “Zion would go forth the Torah”. Meaning that their would be a revival and restoration of the Law during the Endtimes. Isaiah uses the word Zion to describe both a place and a type of people. Zion is a codename in the prophecy of Isaiah to identify His covenant people. Further, Isaiah identifies in this passage what makes Zion His covenant people – the Torah. Indeed, those who return to God’s righteous law in the Torah are God’s covenant Endtime people. The Endtime David The most pivot event in Isaiah’s Endtime prophecy is the arrival of God’s Servant. As an “Elias” who prepares the way for the return of the Messiah, this Endtime servant begins the restoration of all things including God's righteous law, which the Apostle Peter sets out at Acts 3. This Servant is also the Angel from the East that seals the 144,000 Endtime Servants who gathers the tribes of Israel – Revelations 7:2. Endtime Savior-Kings/Queens Another event in Isaiah Endtime scenario is the sealing of 144,000 Savior-kings who come out of the nations to gather and take the Law to the House of Israel. “Nations will come to your light, their kings to the brightness of your dawn. Isaiah 60:3 “Kings shall be your foster fathers, queens your nursing mothers.” Isaiah 49:23. This looks like this in a table summary:
