Human history is replete with nations that have risen in power, corrupted their laws and then collapsed. Sadly, America is on this same path. Secular and religious scholars have observed that America can not sustain a debt-based economy, moral corruption and the demands of special interest groups/individuals.
God promised ancient Israel perpetual peace and prosperity if they would live His law. This system of self-rule lasted until Israel started to do what was "right in their own eyes" and demanded a king. Essentially, Israel fractured under a spirit of individualism - a loss of unity under righteous law. America also began as a nation united under biblical morality and principled government. But within 17 years of the signing of the Constitution, a loss of unity was rearing its compromising head with the passage of the 12th Amendment. The Founders saw America as one nation and one law under God. The unity upon which America was built began to crumble under the introduction of political parties each with its own bend on government. Principled government is not a matter of right or left, conservative or liberal - it's a matter of life or death. God told Israel that to have "life" Israel was to live His law. If they didn't, they would degenerate and be overrun by other nations - they would become weak and lose their freedom and lives. This is where America is headed unless there is a revival of biblical morality and the principles and laws of righteousness under a unified people. The mission and object of this Institute is first education. Any reformation begins with the individual. If we are to receive the life, liberty and happiness that God promised through His law, we must know what that law is and begin incorporating those principles and laws into our individual lives. |
