Commandments, Covenants & Relationship
Yeshua/Jesus said that "If ye love me, keep my commandments" - John 14:15 , and since love is a basic aspect of a personal relationship, keeping God's Commandments are essential to having a personal relationship with Him.
Moreover, Covenants are God's way of organizing His Commandments. Covenants define the depth and breadth of a Relationship with God. The illustration below sets out the progression of a deepening Relationship with God.
