During the counting of the omer, we indicated that we would review the balance of the covenants as we approached Shavuot that commemorates Israel entering into a full relationship with God. Here we'll review the Priesthood Covenant.
Ultimately, fathers of the home are responsible for his family’s temporal and spiritual salvation, which is the essence of the priesthood. Fathers fulfill this role as priest as they strive to keep themselves pure, teach their families the laws of God, stand accountable and answerable to God for the transgressions of his family, and by administering the ordinances of salvation to them – namely baptism, placing the Name of God on his family and the communion of bread and wine - representing Yeshua’s sacrifice.
