The Family Altar
As the Sign of the Priesthood Covenant, altars represent the forgiveness of sins and redemption through an atoning sacrifice. The table below can be used as a family or home altar. A home altar can be used for praying and administering communion, and for communion instead of the animal sacrifices during the biblical holy days.
