In this Blog, we will consider Endtime prophecy from three perspectives: A book written by Strauss and Howe, titled The Fourth Turning: An American Prophecy. The nineteenth chapter of the Book of Isaiah and lastly The Book of Mormon. The Fourth Turning: An American Prophecy The Fourth Turning is a historical analysis of America, which segments the history of America into recurring cycles the book calls Saeculums. These Saeculums are divided into four stages or turnings - High, Awakening, Unraveling, Crisis. The book forecasts the future of American based on these historical cycles. The Book of Isaiah No other book provides such a sweeping and detailed account of the Endtimes than the Book of Isaiah. Drawing on ancient Israels history, we will see how ancient events play out at the final hours of the world. In this Blog, we will consider the nineteenth chapter of Isaiah as a uniquely American prophecy. The Book of Mormon Of a totally uniquely American origin, The Book of Mormon asserts to be a history of early American inhabitants. The Book of Mormon is a history and includes a religion account of Jesus visit to America. It is not Law Code book and presupposes a knowledge of the Old Testament, which includes a complete system of law. Besides asserting to be a witness of Jesus as the Son of God, its most important focus is that it is a prophecy of America including an Endtime scenario. In this Blog, we will consider the Endtime prophecy set out in the Book of Mormon. As a controversial writing, its Endtime prophecy will either validate it as being of divine origin or expose it as a human work of fiction.
