In this review of Born of the Blood, we will continue with our discussion that we started in our last post, which was the pattern of descent and then ascent. Where we introduced the concept of a descent before an ascent with Adam and Eve, wherein Adam Eve “descended” into mortality to experience good and evil so that they could "ascend" and be like God in eternity knowing good and evil.  Moreover, we’ll see how this concept to descent before the ascent applies to Yeshua the Savior of Mankind.

The Process of Perfection
Our Process of Perfection looks like this:

                                                                     Individual Salvation
                                                                             Born Again
          Born of the Blood > Born of the Water > Keeps the Commandments > Born of God/Spirit

                                                                       Married Exaltation
                                                                     Going Onto Perfection
                           Becoming Perfect > Reaches the Full Stature of Messiah > Sees God the Son
 
 
Adam and Eve's Descent
As we saw with Adam and Eve, to be like God and know good and evil they had to descend to a world subject to corruption, but then in eternity they would be raised to higher level in eternity - having an immortal body with a knowledge of good and evil.  Moreover, as descendants of Adam and Eve, all humanity experiences this descent and an ascent.  So in summary that looks like this. 

In the Garden	>	Descent	>	Ascent to a higher level
.	.	.	.	Eternity Retain Knowledge of Good/Evil

.	.	Mortality Experience Good/Evil	.	^

​Jehovah and the Pattern of Descent and Ascent
We can also see this pattern of descent before an ascent with Jehovah – ancient Israel’s God. Jehovah condescended into mortality and took on a body of flesh as Yeshua and suffered for all humanity to reverse the effects of Adam and Eve’s transgression and related personal sin for each one of us.  Not that He "paid the price" for each and every sin of all humanity but that He suffered more than any other person who ever lived or who will ever live and thereby obtained God's mercy and justice for all humanity.  Having met the Father’s conditions to suffer and die for all humanity – Yeshua descended below all things through the His Atonement and Death, and became the Savior of an entire world. Jehovah-Yeshua having successfully redeemed an entire world then ascends to be not only as God, the Millennial King of Zion, but that He ascended and became like His Father – a Most High God.  So our summary looks like this.

The God of Israel	>	Descent Below All Things	>	Ascent to a Higher Level
.	.	.	.	King of Zion Savior of a World Like the Most High God (The Father)
Jehovah	.	V	.	^
.	.	Yeshua Atonement/Death	.	^

The Pattern of Descent and Ascent
The Pattern of Descent and Ascent is God’s process to raise man to a higher level and His way of helping us become like Him.  But knowing good and evil is not the beginning and end to our quest to be like God.  Reaching the full stature and image of Messiah requires additional progressive descents and ascents.  Later, in our review of the Process of Perfection, we'll see what this looks like for Individual Salvation and Married Exaltation.
