Thoughts on Davidic Kingship. Last week we reviewed the major themes related to being God's Covenant People. This week we'll associate the covenants with the 613 commands. Here, we'll look at the specific commands that go with each of our covenants Messianic, Abrahamic, Threshold, Priesthood, Sinai, Davidic and Enochic. These commands express the specific actions to satisfy the requirements to be sanctified.
The Process of Perfection
Our Process of Perfection looks like this: Individual Salvation Born Again (Redemption / Sanctification) Born of the Blood / Born of the Water > Keeps the Commandments > Born of God/Spirit Married Exaltation Going Onto Perfection Becoming Perfect > Reaches the Full Stature of Messiah > Sees God the Son
Covenants and Commands
Even though Yeshua admonished His followers to purify their hearts, our actions must be in accordance with the commands of God - for we will be judged by our works. The tables below correlate the 613 commandments with our seven covenants. The table key helps us to know how we can apply the commandments today. Since we do not live in a dedicated land based on Torah, many commands are not possible to live so we live those we can. Capital crimes in Israel was and is meant to be a deterrent from committing these kinds of crimes. Today, we exclude people that commit capital crimes from association usually the action of excommunication, which in the scriptures is know as being "cut off". This webpage is best viewed on a computer because of the embedded Google document. Also, the scriptural references may be off a verse because how some bibles number the verses.
