This week in Isaiah Decoded we’ll continue with our review of chapter 5 – Zion/Jerusalem, God’s Covenant People. Beginning on page 138, Dr. Gileadi launches into a analysis of comparing our spiritual journey with parallels in the cosmos or the universe as a well-ordered whole, which he sees in the Book of Isaiah. He addresses primarily two aspects of this comparison with humanity – as types of heavenly bodies and the cyclical patterns that we see occur in the universe.

This week in Isaiah Decoded we’ll continue with our review of chapter 5 – Zion/Jerusalem, God’s Covenant People. When we survey chapter 5, five primary topics immerge – keeping the terms of God’s covenant, the concept of ascent, God’s Endtime Servant, tests of loyalty, and Zion achieving paradise. This week we’ll tackle the first of these topics – keeping the terms of God’s covenant. This week in Isaiah Decoded we’ll start our review of chapter 5 – Zion/Jerusalem, God’s Covenant People. We’ll begin our look at chapter 5 by revisiting the covenant Jacob renews and becomes Israel in chapter 4. This covenant forms an important foundation of Yeshua’s(Jesus’) teachings on being Born Again and that process of transformation to become God’s covenant people – Zion/Jerusalem. This week in our review of Isaiah Decoded we’ll wrap-up our look at chapter 4 - Jacob/Israel, Believers in a Creator-God. What we see at the end of the world is a complete separation of the wicked and the righteous. Those who failed to respond to the three-year message of God’s Servant perish during the Day of Jehovah when the three years of judgements sweep the earth and destroy the ungodly. Jacob/Israel disappears as God proves the loyalty of His people who ascend to Zion/Jerusalem. |
