This week we begin a new chapter, chapter 6 in Isaiah Decoded – God’s Sons/Servants, Proxy Deliverers. Before we dive into chapter 6, we need to establish some foundational concepts of those who ascend to God’s Sons/Servants who become God’s community leadership. God’s Sons/Servants are Reborn/Recreated Again In a previous post, we saw that becoming like God is a series of being reborn or recreated. We saw this process when we ascended from Jacob/Israel to Zion/Jerusalem and were Born Again. Likewise, we see these same concepts of being reborn or recreated when we ascend from Zion/Jerusalem to God’s Sons/Servants. Moreover, we can further extend this concept to God’s angelic messengers.
God’s Sons/Servants Become Exalted In chapter five, we saw that Jacob/Israel ascended to Zion Jerusalem as Jacob/Israel came into full maturity under Messiah to be Born Again by keeping God’s law and word and making their covenants unconditional and everlasting being transformed into a new creation of the Spirit. Reaching this full maturity level, Zion/Jerusalem are redeemed and sanctified through God’s Spirit. Ascending beyond Zion/Jerusalem, God’s Sons/Servants progress to actually emulate Israel’s God whom God empowers and exalts to execute His work.
God’s Sons/Servants Become a New Creation of the Son On the Zion/Jerusalem level, we were recreated and became a new creation of the Spirit. We can project this same concept to God’s Sons/Servants who become a new creation of the Son – the Messiah. This concept is expressed in the 4 chapter of Ephesians verse 13,15 – “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Messiah: But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Messiah:”
God’s Sons/Servants, Daughters/Handmaidens and the Marriage Covenant Another important concept to understand is the marriage covenant as it relates to God’s Sons/Servants. On the Zion/Jerusalem level, we saw the marriage covenant executed between His covenant people – the Bride and Yehovah-Yeshua - the Groom. “Isaiah compares God’s collective covenant relationship with Israel to a marriage in which Israel is the wife and Jehovah her husband.” – Gileadi, https://www.isaiahexplained.com/resources/overviews-of-the-prophecy-of-isaiah/ “The marriage covenant has long functioned as a model of God’s covenant with Israel in the writings of the prophets,” – Gileadi, https://www.isaiahexplained.com/resources/overviews-of-the-prophecy-of-isaiah/ When we get to the marriage covenant for God’s Sons/Servants, the covenant becomes an individual covenant under the Davidic Covenant, which includes women who have also been redeemed and sanctified. “The marriage covenant constitutes an integral part of God’s covenant with righteous individuals in the Book of Isaiah. On the model of God’s individual covenant with King David,” – Gileadi, https://www.isaiahexplained.com/resources/overviews-of-the-prophecy-of-isaiah/
God’s Sons/Servants and the Scope of Ministry Our final concept that we will consider today is the scope of God’s Sons/Servant’s ministry. Management of God’s work requires an organization structure with leaders ministering to various groups. In Isaiah’s spiritual categories, we see three levels. Ministering on a local level, an international level, and a worldwide level, which encompasses both time and space. Here is how that looks –
